Educational Outreach

 

"20 by 20 Monthly Vegetable Garden Class Series"

Gardeners participating in this year-long series of classes have pledged to grow at least 20% of their produce during the 2010 growing season.

It is the goal of PPUG to have the folks living in the Pikes Peak region producing 20% of their fresh produce needs by 2020.

These monthly classes are designed to assist the home gardener throughout the year. Each month timely topics will be discussed.

These classes will be offered from April-October

at the historic Harlan Wolfe Ranch. 

The upcoming classes will cover a variety of urban farming topics such as growing and using herbs, beekeeping, specific vegetable growing techniques, composting, children's classes, etc.

Costs will range from $10-$30.
